[pci 6704] Using analog output as analog input.

Hello!

I'm suing PCI-6704.

In the manual of PCI-6704, they only describe about analog output.

May i use this AO as analog input?

Thanks!

Hi,

No.

This is not possible.  The board is only designed for one direction.  Digital to analog converters are not analog to digital converters in reverse.  If you need analog inputs, you will need a different card.  You can find one at http://www.ni.com/en-us/shop.html or by contacting a NI representative at http://www.ni.com/contact-us/.

Just because the question is already properly answered I'll take the opportunity to maintain my reputation for humor.

That 6704 might just be unwilling to co-operate while the lawsuit is pending however, you can still try to use it for analog input.  It won't work but, you can certainly try.  Smiley LOL
