How ca I launch a VI from within another VI (main VI) and after stopping the main VI the launched VI isn't stopped?

You first use an Open VI Reference to the VI you want, an invoke node to open the front panel, and then another invoke node to run the VI. With the Run VI method, you have to set Wait Until Done to false.

Also, since this is a general LabVIEW question, you should have posted to the LabVIEW forum and not the DAQ forum.
