difference between the PCI 6036 E and the PCI MIO 16 XE 10 (or 50) card?

what is the difference between the PCI 6036 E and the PCI MIO 16 XE 10 (or 50) card? Why is the second one more expensive ? What does 100kS/s or 200kS/s mean? can the 6036E work with Labview 5.1 and windows 95?

Hello Cecile,

The PCI-MIO-16XE-10 (PCI-6030E) is a full-featured E-series device, whereas the PCI-6036E is a low-cost E-series device.
The PCI-6036E has less functionnality than the PCI-6030E :
- the aggregate sample rate is 100 kS/s (kiloSamples/second) instead of 200 kS/s,
- the is only 4 input ranges instead of 14,
- the max output rate is 10kS/s instead of 100kS/s,
- analog triggering is not supported,
- etc.
That's why this board is less expensive.
You can use this board with LabVIEW 5.1 and Windows 95 with the Traditional NI-DAQ 6.9.1 drivers.

Regards.
