Did you mean:

crio-9066 DSM

So just a question if anyone has noticed.

IN DSM

cRIO-9073 and many others from what i hear, show up by there IP address.

However in the new 9066 they show up by there Hostname.

Anyone esle recognized this, or wonder why this is the case?

Or how i can change it to show up by IP, without changing the name to match the IP?

Yes, as far as I know this is expected behaviour on Linux RT targets. Is there a reason you need it to show up by IP?

Yes mutiple reasons, first standardization between chassis would be great.

I dont understand why NI wouldnt want all there chassis to be displayed by a common identifier, IP or Host name.

Also i am having issues with the 9066 being recognized on my network (Long story)

Understood. Yes, this is something we're looking into currently. I agree that having it show up by its IP address would make sense. Hopefully this will become easier in future releases, but it's hard to say. If you want help with the connectivity issues you're having, feel free to start a new thread about that!
