chart not displaying data after about 48 hours

My application involves continuously sending data to a waveform chart (this is a buffered acquisition with the following acquisition parameters: scan rate: 20000, scan to read at a time: 1000, buffer size: 200000 and my while loop has a 10msec delay). After 36 hours, the waveform chart was still displaying data. However after about 48 hours the chart did not display any data (the vi is still running). I've played around with changing the scale but the chart is not displaying any data. The only way that i can get it to display the data again was to stop and rerun the vi. What is happening?

This could be a long test, so best choice is that you post a sample or part of your application showing that problem.
I will run it in my system to test it and try to isolate the problem.
