cDAQ-9188 SDK

I have this device with model number cDAQ-9188 and I am looking to interface to it so I can save the data to database.  I was wondering if there was a SDK to interface to it via TCP/IP.

Thank you.

The API for programming any module in this chassis is called DAQmx and it can be downloaded at http://www.ni.com/download/ni-daqmx-9.8/4297/en/

What programming language do you intend to use?

Hello Denise,

Thank you for your reply.

I plan to use C# to interface to this device through TCP socket programming.

Hello Dennis,

Sorry about getting your name wrong.

Thank you for your help.

I have downloaded Ni-DAQmx Kit and I notice there are a lot of examples there.  I am trying to connect to thermocouples connect to this NI device called NI cDAQ-9188  with serial no 015ED821.

Can you point me to an C# example in that SDK that would be helpful?

Really appreciate the help.

Hi Bhanu0911

There are C examples that are installed with NI-DAQmx if you checked them while you were installing.

Those examples should be in this path: C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Examples\DAQmx ANSI C

Please let us know if you are able to find them,

Thanks
