Hi Dennis,

               I need to read the load cell data from a tensile testing machine. the pin output of the load cell is an RS232 type. can i connect it directly to my laptop via a RS232 to HDMI converter?. can you tell me how to detect the externally connected load cell through labview

You are posting to a solved thread and are off-topic. Please start a new thread. Also, you mention an RS232 to HDMI converter. You would typically use an RS232 to USB.
