SC-2345 carriers are used in one-to-one correspondence with PCI cards. There is a one-to-one relation between the channels on the DAQ card (say PCI-6013) and the modules on the SC-2345 carrier. So you can not use one PCI card with more SC carriers or one SC carrier with multiple DAQ cards (e.g. for a PCI-6013, you have 16 AI, 8 DIO and 2 counters; and you have positions on SC-2345 to hold the corresponding modules).
