When a task reach the timeout, how to force to empty the buffer and restart the acquisition?

Hello,

It is difficult to answer without information about the task type and what you exactly want to do.
I imagine you can put your acquisition task in a while loop and loop while you have a time out error.
Please be more specific so that I can help you.
