Problem with my PCI-6023e

Hi!

There is a PCI-6023e National Instruments in my system but the analog inputs are in high positive or negative level. I verified the control panel and Max instalation It was ok.
I installed a battery of 1,5Vdc on the analog inputs to verify voltage measurement but the measurement remained saturated with 10 Vdc in all channels.

Thanks,

Rafael Leite

What is your configuration (differential/rse) and what pins do you connect the battery to?

My setup is CSR. I connected the battery pins AIGND 67 (-) and 68-CH0 (+) and also in other channels.

What is CSR? The physical connection is referenced single ended. Do you actually have a gnd that you connect to pin 67?

Hi Rafael,

The best connection approach using a battery is RSE or just single-ended. You can find details here:

http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3344/en/

Test the board using MAX with a known source of signal, if using DAQmx driver execute self-test and self-calibrate.

Make sure that any software change was made in this machine, and if was tell us what changed.

If you have any doubt feel free to contact us,
