PXI-6251 output

Hi!
I'm working with a PXI-6251 Multifunction DAQ and had a question about the analog output capabilities.
We want to use the DAQ board to trigger an external relay. We currently have a 12 V input 1400 ohm relay, which the DAQ board cannot trigger as it can output only 10V maximum (is this correct?)
However, another we are looking at is switched at 5 volt DC, 139Ω. The DAQ board would be able to provide the voltage; but those specs imply a 36mA input current. The DAQ board specs state that the output current drive is only +/- 5mA, with an overdrive current of 20 mA - both these seem somewhat low. Am I misunderstanding the specifications or can the board only provide a maximum 5 mA @ 10 V? And would it be able to trigger this relay?

Thanks!

dagda99,
You are interpreting the specs correctly, the analog ouputs on your DAQ device can output only 5mA, and 10V max.  If you need more current or voltage than that, you will need to use some external circuitry, like a current amplifier.
