Hello
I'm trying to control NI USB-6211 from Matlab 2012a using NI-DAQmx Data Acquisition tool:
http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3005
I'm working on win7, 64 bit. And I see the device from NI Measurement & Automation Explorer.
The tool does not respond: DAQ_Demo_Browser doing nothing. And I got error "Unbalanced or unexpected parenthesis or bracket" from AcqNUpdates_nonUI.m
What is the problem?
Thanks and regards,
Arthur Shulkin

Hi Arthur,
The NI-DAQmx Tools for Data Acquisition with The Mathworks, Inc. MATLAB® Software supports up to version 2008b of the MATLAB® Software. In order to use our Multifunction DAQ products with the MATLAB® Software, you could either revert back to 2008b or earlier, or instead utilize the Data Acquisition Toolbox provided by The Mathworks, Inc.
Another option would be to import your .m files into a MathScript node in LabVIEW, and utilize the NI-DAQmx functions all within the LabVIEW development environment. For more information about the MathScript Module for LabVIEW, you can review the information available at this link:

Have NI discontinued the NIDAQmx Tools for Data Acquisition? I tried to access your link the the developer page and it says that it no longer exists?
kind regards,

Is there a version for MAC? I'm looking for the exact toolbox for MAC platform.
Thank you.

Hi John_Amery,
There is no MAC version of the toolbox which Ryan posted. Instead, I would look into the MATLAB® NI-DAQmx toolbox (http://www.mathworks.com/products/daq/) and check if it is MAC compatible. In addition, you can also verify this list of compatible devices to see if it is going to help your project: http://www.mathworks.com/products/daq/supported/ni-daqmx.html
