NI 9223-" unsupported cDAQ module" when moved from one pc to another

Hi,

I am using a NI cDAQ-9188 with NI 9223, NI 9220 , NI 9237, NI 9235, NI 9214  .

When I run them using a NI-MAX version 15.3, they all work.

When I try to run them on a NI-MAX version 5.5 ,the NI 9223 module comes: "unsupported cDAQ module".

Is it because the NI-MAX version or is there any other reason?

Thank you.

Hello,

Please see this link:

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/1A7587205357457A86257EAD0001DE7E

Your Daqmx Version 5.5 doesn't support your module.

kind regards,

Lily

The NI-MAX version doesn't matter so much, but the NI-DAQmx version does. (Within NI-MAX, the version of NI-DAQmx can be seen under My System→Software in the tree.)

If the installed version of NI-DAQmx doesn't support a module, it will appear as a "Unsupported Module" in MAX. As per http://www.ni.com/product-documentation/10622/en/, the NI 9223 with Screw Terminal requires at least NI-DAQmx 9.2, and the NI 9223 with BNC requires at least NI-DAQmx 9.9.
