I am confused on the instructions for installing low pass filter components on the SCB-68. In older docs supplied with NI DAQ ((c) 1994) cap is shown in position B or D and resistor is shown in F or G. This makes sense. In current lit sent with new SCB 68, directions state the exact opposite. This makes no sense to me as that puts the cap in series with the signal and the resistor as the shunt to ground. Help???
Thank you for contacting National Instruments. Your confusion is warranted. There appears to be a misprint in the latest manual. The previous manual was correct. Resistors should be in F or G and capacitors should be in B or D for a lowpass filter. It looks like the manual is specifying a highpass, rather than lowpass, filter. Sorry for the confusion. I will make the correction for the next release of the manual.
