Legacy AT-MIO-16F5 - Daqconf problems on recent PC

Hi,

I have a problem with Daqconf and an AT-MIO-16F5 on a recent industrial
PC.

Card is set up with I/O 300h, Int10 DMA 6/7. Software (Written in C++ for
Dos)
runs fine (i.e. address is correctly set). However we cannot change any of
the card settings since daqconf reports
an address conflict at all the addresses we try.

The software uses ATBRDS.CFG to find the I/O, IRQ etc.

Cannot run Windows version to set-up since the PC does not have a hard disk.

At present we have to move the card to another PC with Windows, or to an old
486 to generate a new atbrds.cfg
for the required I/O and IRQ settings.

Has anybody had the same problem/found the solution ?

Does anybody know the data structure of the AT
BRDS.CFG file so that we can
modify it manually ?

TIA
Clive
