Is there a means to detect when a cDAQ 9139 switches from using the primary power input V1 and the secondary V2

The manual states the power LED will be green if the cDAQ is using the primary power supply V1 and yellow if it's using the secondary power supply V2.  Is there any way to detect this programmatically so that actions can be taken based on which power supply is in use?

Thanks!

Michael

Michael,

Unfortunately, that functionality is not available on our cDAQs. It appears that it is only available on a select few of our cRIO controllers.

Thanks,

Daniel

However, depending on the power supplies you used and what you have for spare IO on your DAQ, you could run a voltage sense back as a discrete input. This would require one of a few capabilities (Obviously not covering all of them, but here are a couple)
1: a 'DC OK' contact on your power supply and a spare digital input on your DAQ
2: A digital input module with a spare input capable of receiving your power supply voltage
3: An analog input module with a spare input capable of receiving your power supply voltage (with this you can obviously set thresholds as well)
