The 6023E Card supports +/- 0.5 V to 10 V on the Analog Input Channels. As long as your voltage is above 0.5 or below -0.5, you will be able to read this successfully.

Hi Leon,

The 6023E only supports bipolar ranges (not unipolar, such as 0-10V). The closest range fitting your requirements would be +/- 10V. Unfortunately, this means that if your signal is strictly greater than 0V, that you'll effectively lose half of your dynamic range. To minimize loss of accuracy, you'll want to pick the range as close as possible to the range of the signal you're measuring. But, you have to keep in mind that if your signal goes beyond the specified range, then you'll observe "clipping", which is undesirable. For example, if you selected a +/-5V range and input a 5.23V signal, your measured signal would be "clipped" at 5V.

The 6023E supports the following ranges: +/-10V, +/-5V, +/-500mV, +/-50mV.

You might also consider the new M-Series boards. The PCI-6220 is a 16 bit, 250 kS/s board, so it's 16 times more accurate than the PCI-6023E, 50 kS/s faster and costs slightly less. Even though PCI-6220 only supports bipolar ranges, you would still improve the accuracy of your measurement by a factor of 16, because it is a 16-bit board (and thus has 4 more bits of accuracy).
