I am trying to get my NI MAX to work, but it can only detect the NI cDAQ9184. If I try to do anything with it, it requires me to log into the cDAQ9184. I have tried the default username and password but it is not able to work, I am able to get into the cDAQ9184 through the browser and use the default username and password there. I am very confused as to why this is happening. Especially because before it did not ask for the login and would display an error of 50150 when I tried to self test it. Thank you

It sounds like your computer has some kind of security software on it. Is it a company computer? Our devices should not require a log-in unless they are a controller running an OS. You may want to refer to this and check with your IT department.

Hey
Thank you for helping me out. I think you gave me the wrong link. I have tried disabling the firewall and adding NI MAX as an acception to the firewall, but that did not help

I did give you the wrong link, it was supposed to be this one:

Is the computer with the issue a business computer managed by IT or is it a personal/stand alone PC?
What OS and version of LabVIEW are we running?
I would check this article as well and make sure nothing is conflicting:

Thanks for the help. It seems like the version of LabVIEW I was using was the problem. I thought that if I had any version of labview and the correct drivers then the modules would work. Sorry it took so long to get back to this post. Once I got it working I ran into other problems that I was trying to fix
