I need a PCMCIA Extender

Hello, i'm working with the DAQCard 6024E (PCMCIA) for acquiring signals of voltage and current, but i have the following problem: the DAQCard it works 5 hours daily and  it heat very much, and it reach temperatures high. I need a PCMCIA extender for to connect the DAQCard PCMCIA out of my PC. What PCMCIA Extender can I to buy?? Can you make me a recomendation??

Hi Andres-

It sounds like you're looking for a way to extend your DAQcard out from the slot to allow for better ventilation and cooling.  NI does not offer any hardware to perform this, and short of better cooling for the laptop itself you might want to just perform a search for "PCMCIA extender" or some variation.  A quick search on my end turned up this result.

Any ideas from other users that have found this type of hardware would be appreciated.
