How to use two data acquisition boards simultaneously

I have to use two data acquisition boards. One is PCI-6111 connected with MCR(IDEAS) and the other is PCI-MIO-16E-1 connected with SCXI(NI). Each boards can be operated individually in Labview program. However, the Labview program almost stopped when I tried to use them together in one program.

How can I make a program which uses both DAQ system.

Just curious. Are you sure the your computer keeps up with Data Acquisition of both boards? I mean, does it have enough RAM for collecting data from both and the PCI bus is not overloaded.

What do you mean by almost stopped? Does it give some error or the computer hangs up?

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

If you are using LabVIEW 7.0 or higher, I recommend that you try using our DAQmx driver. All of the hardware you have mentioned is supported under N-DAQmx 7.2. DAQmx is a multi-threaded driver which makes programming multiple devices and functions simultaneously very easy.
