Hello,

Overall, it looks good. If the acquisition is going to be continuous, you may want to change the acquisition mode in the DAQ Assistance configuration window accordingly and get rid of the Delay Express VI to let the DAQ Assistant take care of the loop timing.

The next article may give you some hints.

http://www.ni.com/tutorial/14338/en/

Section 2 (the connection diagram thing) can actually be done until after section 3 has been covered.

If you want to improve the VI performance, you can refer to the example mentioned at the end of the article, as well as the Thermocouple - Continuous Input.vi example in the sample place, to learn how to use the low lever DAQmx functions for increased functionality control.

Hope it helps!

best on your thermocouple type there is table for relation between voltage and related temp you should translate your reading voltage to temp based on that table also you have to regard cold junction temp to get real temp measured by thermocouple
