Solved!

Hi All,

I have NI-USB 6501 DAQ board, I have an issue that when I plug the usb board in my desktop usb, and measure 5V pin source I dont get voltage output from that pin. its 0v

Is there any settings required to enable the +5V voltage source.

How can I turn on the 5V source in NI-USB 6501

Please let me know

You don't have to do anything to turn it on. What two pins are you connecting to when you take the measurement?

I use GND and the pin which says +5 V, there are two +5v pins I tried both and even tried different computer USB port.

Problem solved I can  now just use one of the output channel with open collector settings  I can get now around 4.8 v ~ 5 V, the +5 V source output just gives floating numbers.
