I would like to make a long term measurement of a dc power supply to check the voltage stability. So I used DAQ-assistant at a sampling frequency of 0.01Hz but it gives me an error saying that DAQ is unable to record and that I need to set longer read timeout.
What is read timeout and how do I configure to make the measurement mentioned above?
I am using NI 6363 DAQ which has a maximum sampling rate of 2 Mega samples/sec. But is there any lower bound on the sampling rate?

Please supply your VI so that we can actually help you troubleshoot.

You could sample at a higher rate but only keep the data from reads every now and then. Is there a reason you don't want to sample faster than 0.01 Hz?
