Digital temperature sensor NI 6008

Is it possible to use a digital temperature sensor in a digital input of the acquisition card NI 6008 ?

The answer depends on the sensor. What is the format of its output? How many bits? How fast? Any special timing or handshaking required?  What is the sensor manufacturer and model?

But can you give me examples of digital temperature sensors that I can use in the digital inputs of the NI 6008 card.

It would only make sense if you are using an I2C sensor. The 6008 would not be a great choice for that though, with its software timed digital I/O.
