Hi,
we are building a new laboratory setup which will require Hardware in the Loop data sensing by the sensors , and formatting/ analysis using programs and possibly sending data back to hardware for control.
We are confused as to the BNC shielded connector block ( which has analog/ digital inputs and outputs) or a DAQ device to be used?
what are the major difference between them?
any light upon the above is highly appreciated..
Best regards,
Fesmi

The DAQ is what does the actual measuring of the signals. The terminal block is just a simple way to route the signals to the DAQ. So you will actually want the terminal block, cable, and the DAQ card.
I highly recommend talking with your local NI sales rep to make sure you get exactly what you need.

Hi cross rulz,
Thanks a lot for the reply.
As per your advice we contacted the Ni rep here at Middle East , and he has provided us with quotes for DAQs which best fit our application.
