DAQ product with +/- 12V analog output ?

Solved!
Go to solution

We are looking to update a manual test box.

We are looking for a DAQ product with analog outputs capable of +/- 12V

We are not generating waveforms. Just using LabVIEW to set a voltage and adjust it in the range of -12V and +12V.

Does NI sell anything with this capability?

I have found the NI PCI-6703 and would serve our needs except that it is +/-10V.

It would probably be less expensive to add an opamp with gain of 1.2 running from +/-15 V power supplies.

Hello nyc,

Consider the PXIe-4322 or NI 9269. The PXIe-4322 supports +/-16V per channel. The NI 9269 has 4 (+/-10V) isolated channels which can be cascaded for greater voltages.

True. We will have to seriously consider doing that since I know cost will be a big factor in the ultimate decision made by management.
