DAQ burnout

Hi, We have several PCI-6030E and PCI-MIO-16XE-10 cards running at customers sites all using the same software. Because regular computers with PCI slots are hard to find, we had a PC custom-built with a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P motherboard. Within 8 weeks, the PCI-6030E reported the error 10805 and a day later, burned out. Before we try another card in this PC , please give the opinion as to if the card or the PC is the problem. Thanks for posting regarding the burnout on your PCI-6030E. I woud recommend that for issues such as this you contact our Technical Support department directly (If you're in the uk then call in on 01635 523 545) as they will be able to more effectively help to diagnose what caused this problem by contacting you direct via phone or email.

Thanks. Are you based in the UK yourself?  I did contact NI UK and they directed me to this site.  I thought a written exchange with photos would be easier to understand.
