Comparison LabWindows/LabView

Hi all:

First of all, I'm new to this newsgroup so this question probably has
already been posted here.

For a new project I want to use LabWindows or LabView.
Q: What are the differences between the two packages with respect to
speed and flexibility?

regards,
Theo ter Meer.

Hi Theo,

What are you planning to do in your application?

I will tell you this on labview and Labwindows/CVI, they are both the same
execution speed. They are both build to directely compile on the provided
compiler so no problem. They have both the ability to compile programs into
exe files and into DLL-file's.
This reduces the question. What are you experienced in. If you are an
experienced C programmer take labwindows/CVI. This will develop the
applications if you know C faster than labview. If you have no C experience
i would suggest go for labview. This gives you the ease of use and it has an
enormous set of library's delivered with it so that you practicaly don't
need to program any functions by yourself.

If there are any questions on what they can do. Please fe
el free to contact
me or my colegues at the the office in the Netherlands on the following
number 348 433 466.

With kindest regards
