Can I measure AC - RMS with my 6040E?

I have a few current transducers(LEM) in my application.
(They deliver a AC voltage wich is a mate for the current)

So, I would like to read the RMS voltage with my 6040E (and a SCB68 connector block).
xtra problem : The voltage(AC) is not a proper sine-wave ( a lot of hair on it) so RMS measurement is required

Can i do this measurement with my card or should I better search for an other transducer wich delivers DC voltage.

My configuration:

VB6.0 without measurement studio.

thanx

You can measure a AC voltage with our card as long as you stay in the specs of the card (-10V -> +10V)
Multiply the RMS value with 1.4 to know the maximum expected voltage.

It would be better to use a transducer that outputs a DC voltage so you are sure the card will not be damaged.
