6341 dc signal

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi All,

USB 6341 is not generating a 5V DC signal. It works from NI USB 6009, but not from 6341. Im choosing AO 0, 1 Sample (On demand), and feeding a 5 integer constant to it. Using pins 15 and 16 (AO0 and AO 0 GND)

Using Labview 2013 and DAQmx 9.7.5

Help please!

Have you tried using test panel in MAX? That's a good place to start. The other thing is to try other Analog Output channels to see if any of them work.

It also could be that your 6341 doesn't maintain the value that you are outputting once the program terminates. You just have a DAQ assistance to write a single point then your program terminates. Try test panels in MAX and see if you can monitor the AO line that way.

You can also try a shipping example from the Example Finder (Help >> Find Examples). I would recommend looking at Analog Voltage - On Demand Output.
