6024e (PCMCIA) fails after laptop recovers from sleep

The subject line says it all. The card fails regardless if using Labview, C++ program, or even testing in Measurement and Automation Explorer.

Sure, disabling sleep solves this problem, but it's about time for a better solution. This problem has existed for years.

I understand that a problem like this can be frustrating. However, I think that it is more dependent on the hardware of the system then anything else. I have a brand new laptop, and it does not have any problems, the issue seems to happen on some hardware setups and not on others.
