5 V output doesn't work on a PCI-6040E DAQ

I moved my PCI DAQ board (PCI-MIO-16E-4 or PCI-6040E) to a new computer and it seems that the 5V output doesn't work anymore. On a BNC-2090 adapter, the +5V LED remains off. I tested a few other functions (analog in, analog out, digital out) and they seem OK. What can be the source of the problem? Can it be a problem with the new computer that doesn't provide enough power to the DAQ board? Or is there a fuse for the +5 V? If yes, is it easy to change?

Thanks,

-- Nicolas.

Hi Nicolas,

There may be an issue with that particular computer. I would like you to try a couple things:

1) Try card on another slot in that computer
2) Try card in another computer

It would be good if we could isolate this problem to the computer so we are sure that the card wasn't damaged during the transistion.

Thanks,
Sal
