nema 23 stepper + 2hss57 drive+arduino mega 2560

Hi!

I have 2 phase nema 23 stepper motor connected to 2HSS57 drive trying to control motor over Arduino Mega 2560 in Labview. Drive is powered to 24V 5A power supply and both phases correctly (according to schematics) to drive. Direction+ and pulse+ are connected to Arduino pins 31 and 33.  and direction- and pulse - to ground on Arduino.Tried setting both pins to outputs, direction to 1 and arduino stepper configure and stepper write  for control..but nothing happens.   Can anybody give me guidelines how to control such system via Labview.

How are you currently communicating using LabVIEW?  Have you tried Linx? https://www.labviewmakerhub.com/doku.php?id=libraries:linx:start

i downloaded  labview interface for arduino via ni package manager and using usb to communicate with arduino. Tried it on controlling few towerpro microservos and worked just fine. No, i havent tried LINX but i ll give it a try today 🙂 tnx for advice
