I am beginner in LabVIEW.I have to control an Nd-Yag laser source.

As my work piece is moving at a particular velocity and I have to make the laser source to start emitting laser at the same time the workpiece starts moving.

I have got a motion controller to move the work piece and the Nd-Yag laser can be externally triggered.

What is the make/model of the motion controller?

What type of signal is needed to trigger the laser?

Does the motion controller have any outputs that can be activated when motion occurs?
