Use Motion Assistant on the platform of labview v13.0 (64-bit)

Is it possible to use the Motion Assistant when I write a program on the platform of labview version 13.0.0 (64-bit), with an operating system of Win7? If so, then how?

Any necessary information will be appreciated!

Yes.

You can just download Motion Assistant and install it,and use it in Labview.

Firstly, thank you for your recommendation. But, unfortunately, when I installed and set up the Motion Assistant, I was offered options only for Labview 32-bit, no for 64-bit.

Any furthermore suggestion?

Hi

  • NI Motion Assistant is compatible with 32-bit LabVIEW only. Therefore, you must have 32-bit LabVIEW installed even if you use a 64-bit OS.

Thanks very much. But unfortunately, another application communicating with LV make 64-bit LV necessary.

Does the other application specifically require 64-bit LabVIEW, or does it just need to run on a 64-bit OS?  The 32-bit version of LabVIEW can run on a 64-bit OS; In fact, this is probably one of the most common ways LabVIEW is used.
