Timing and transition measurement vi

I am using timing and transition measurement express vi for measurement of the RPM by using a proximity sensor. The sensor on sensing the metallic surface gives a 0.02 V DC current which I am acquiring using DAQ card. As soon as I start my measurement vi an error pomp's up saying

" the waveform didn't cross the mid reference level enough time to perform this measurement. Check the signal length, reference level and ref level units"

I am not  able to rectify this problem. What should I do to sought out this problem. Same is the case when I replaced the express vi with pulse measurement vi

please help me in this regard.
