TST101 APT Motor Control Help

Hi there!

I have a TST101 (https://www.thorlabs.com/thorproduct.cfm?partnumber=TST101), that I am trying to operate through LabView using Thorlabs APT software. I have run through the Example.VI listed in the GuidetoLabViewandAPTpdf, but I am getting an event log pop up everytime I try to run and test the code. It suggests that it can't find the conrol hardware even though I can see the apt device in the Device Manager and I have inputted the correct serial number.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Charlie,

One thing to note is the serial number that you key in to LabVIEW has to be the serial number you see in the APT user interface, not the serial number on the unit. Go ahead and give that a try and let me know the results!

I got the same problem when I tried to manage and control Thorlabs Motorized Filter Flip MFF102M from LabView. Does anywone have some improvements in the decision of this task?

Have you made sure that you're using the serial number from the APT user interface? If so, what do you mean as far as "improvements in the decision of this task?"
