PCI-7344 limit and home inputs type

Hello,

I am trying to find out what type of switches will work with PCI-7344 (4-Axis Stepper/Servo Controller for PCI) limit and home inputs.

If i have NPN or PNP switch as the input to the limits and home input, will it work?

I saw that on the user manual. But, it wasn't clear.

Basically, I am trying to find out if I use a PNP or NPN type switch at the input. Will that work? Also, on the software, we have set all home and limit inputs to active high.

We are designing a new electric actuator to work with PCI-7344. The electric actuators will contain either NPN or PNP magnetic switches. Before, we finalize the design, we have to make sure that these switches will work with PCI-7344
