NI 9502 HELP!!!

Hi! we are starting a project about motor control using NI 9502, can we use third party Brushless Servo Motor? And can we also use a third party DC Brushless Motor?

NI offers optimized motors especially for the NI 9502. On the webpage you can find this note to the motors:

The detailed specifications of these AKD brushless servo motors you can find in the manual.

 

Basically it should be possible to connect a 3rd party motor to the NI 9502. To ensure that you can drive your motor with the NI 9502, make sure that the following three Input/Output Characteristics matches up:

  1. The motor inductance matches up (or is greater than) with the 250 micro Henry inductance of the NI 9502, It doesn't have to be exact, but somewhere in the range.
  2. The motor can be driven with the 9-30V output from the NI 9502.
  3. The motor can accept the 4A/8A peak amperage that the NI 9502 outputs.
