Cable options for UMI to OPTO-22 G4 I/O Module

I currently have an OPTO-22 G4 8-Channel Rack with a standard 50 pin header. My current motion controler just has a ribbon cable that connects to this I/O board. I am replaceing the controller with a PCI7332 and UMI7772. I need to get the G4 board hooked up to either the PCI7332 or the UMI7772. I purchased the SH6850 cable to go from the PCI7332 directly to the G4 board but I need the SHC68 to 50 pin instead.

Is there a cable to go directly from the PCI7332 to the OPTO-22 G4 rack?

If not is there a cable to go from the UMI-7772 to the OPTO-22 G4 rack?

Hello Viper,

Unfortunately there is not direct way to connect our motion hardware with your current Opto-G4 Rack.
You can see a knowledge base article about motion cabling here:
http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/5BCA4D4A31025542862573BF0057750A

Essentially, the PCI 7332 has a 68pin output that can connect directly to our Motion drivers or UMI's using the SHC68-C68-S cable
The other cabling option is the SH68-C68-S that has one of our VHDCI connectors on one end and a 0.05 68-pin SCSI D-type connector on the other that can be used to interface with some 3rd party devices.

The UMI is just a breakout box that has 68 screw terminals that map to the 68 pins output from the PCI card.  You can also make a custom cable.  We offer the SHC68-NT-S Shielded Cable Assembly (unterminated) which has our 68pin connector on one end, and open ended wires on the other which you can put your own connector on.

Hope this helps!
