How do I trigger aquisition if the trigger is imposed upon one of the data channels.

I have a PCI 6023 E Series DAQ. I have several input channels of data. One of the channels has a trigger and then some data. The others just have data. How do I use the imposed trigger on the first channel to start the data aquisition of all the channels.

If the triggered channel has a TTL trigger signal type, you can configure the DAQ task to be Digital Triggered, and connect the triggered channel to the first channel of the channel list.

There is a good Labview or NI-DAQ shipping example showing how to code that task.
