C++ Interface USB-6251

I know this has been asked to death but I haven't found a clear cut answer on google or on the forums. I have a NI USB-6251 DAQ that I want to interface with using C++. I have Visual Studio 2008 (or VS 9.0) but I do not have Measurement Studio. I'd like to avoid purchasing Measurement Studio so does anyone know of example codes of C++ interfaces with DAQs?

If you have DAQmx installed, you should be able to go to Start>>Programs>>National Instruments>>NI-DAQ>>Text-Based Code Support and find some relevant examples there.
