Application for GPIB-PCII/IIA and GPIB-USB

Can I run previously written application in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 for GPIB-PCII/IIA on GPIB-USB without modification ? I used in my old programs the 32.bit GPIB language interface for Visual C++ (decl-32.h,gpib-32.obj).
Can I use VC++ and GPIB language interface to program new application for GPIB-USB ?

Hi,

Yes,you can. When programming an GPIB-USB interface, you would use the same functions used for a PCI-GPIB. NI maintains the same functions throughout the versions.

The only thing you need is the lastest driver (NI-488.2 2.0), which you can download from www.ni.com.

Hope this clears your question.
