Measurement Studio for VB6

It looks like there is a discussion forum titled "The procedure entry point _StopSpying@0 coule not be located in the dynamic link library NiSpyLog.dll" where the user appears to have received a very similar error to what you are receiving. In their case the problem is that they have a newer version of NISpyLog.dll on their machine than is available in the installation of the package. It seems like the solution is to uninstall the newer version of NI-SPY and attempt the installation again. If you are still receiving errors than you may need to perform a clean installation of Windows XP in order to install this older version of Measurement Studio.

I uninstall all software related to NI or National instruments and then re-install Measurement Studio. I get the same error message.

My company IT administrator will not reinstall Win XP in my laptop as there are many other software to be re-installed.

What I can do is to ask them for an old laptop for me just for this purpose. I hope it works afterwards as at least I can successfully install it in my old desktop.

This year I try to install VB6 and measurement studio again in my work computer. After i have unchecked DAO before installation, I can successfully install both VB6, VB6sp6 and Measurement studio 1.0.1. My programs do not need DAO.

Just to let somebody who have the same problem knows.
