VB6 PCI to PCIe transparent change?

We are running a long established piece of test software written in VB6 that uses NI PCI cards. Uisng PCI cards restricts the type of PC we can use and we now want to move to a newer PC that only supports PCIe.

My question is will our application no longer work with a PCIe card or will it not even notice because the driver takes care of any differences.

Thanks

Re: VB6 PCI to PCIe transparent change?

The driver should take care of everything for you. However, you may want to pay attention to VB6 compatibility. For example, some of our newer drivers which will support your PXIe hardware may not be compatible with VB6. Check the readme for hardware and software compatibilites. Also, VB6 is not supported on Windows 7.
