set the rate of sample clock

Hi,

I am continiously reading a digital signal with a simulator. I would like to know how can I check at what frequency the signals are coming back?

How can I set internal clk?

When I use 'ConfigureSampleClock' to setup the external clock, I get error: Requested value is not a supported value for this property. The peroperty value may be invalid because it conflicts with another property.

Status Code: -200077

I am getting the same error with ContReadDigChan_ExtClk sample.

I will use NI USB-6002 for the actual project.

Thanks,

Shabnam

Shabnam,

This is Ali from National Instrument's applications engineering.

If it is the 6002, here is a reference to all the properties available for this device. I'd recommend taking a look, if the specific property is in this page then that's definitely something we can look further into. Do keep in mind that our simulated devices can cause odd errors.

Secondly, here is the manual for the 6002. If you haven't taken a look, I'd highly recommend it. The 6002 is a great device but it does have certain counter and timing limitations. We can also talk about other devices if you want to explain your end application a little bit.

Hope that helps!

Regards,
