What kind of driver do I need when distribution?

Now I am developing a program using measurement studio8.0. I used I/O assistant to communicate with RS-232 and GPIB instrument.

What I want to know is, do I need to install some drivers on client's PC in order to make my program work properly?

In the help there are specific topics that cover what you need to deploy, and what specific Merge Modules or assemblies you need to include depending on your application.

From the sounds of it you will for sure have to Install NI-488.2 and possibly NI-VISA if you used it to do the serial communication.  These need to be installed on the other machine using the Driver installer.

If so, Can I merge drivers with my setup program?
