Visual Studio 2012 crashes at startup after installing Measurement Studio 2013

I have the same problem. 

the temporarily solotion is to repair Visual Studio. 

but i can not always repair every time cause of time.

if there is a better way to solve this problem, please let me also.!!!!!

Can you post your system information (OS version, version number of Visual Studio, Version of Measurment Studio, OS localization, Active Keyboards, Localization of Visual Studio, any details you can find).

Can you also post the edition of Measurement Studio license you have activated?

Can you post the stack information for the crash?

Hi,

it's one year ago, but I have some news.

Because there was no solution for my problem, i used a virtual machine for this combination of visual studio and measurement studio. I do not need measurement studio every day, so it was acceptable for me to make the repair installation of the update 1 oder 2 times a month on the virtual machine.

Now, by chance i got aware of this directory:

C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\11.0

Deleting or renaming does the trick: Visual Studio is creating the directory, no crash. It seems that deleting the directory has no negative effects, so renaming the directory automatically on system startup works for me.

Anyway it would be nice to know the real reason for the crash.
