Using NIDAQmx with Visual Studio 2015

I am working on a project in Visual Studio 2015 Visual Basic which needs to interface to an NI PCI-6221 DAQ board.  I installed NI DAQmx 15.0.1.  I am not using Measurement Studio at this time.  Where can I find the instructions for interfacing with the driver and VB sample code?

According to http://download.ni.com/support/softlib//multifunction_daq/nidaqmx/15.1.1/readme.html#niApp

only Visual Studio 2013 is supported by NI-DAQmx 15.1.1
