Using Annotations with MS2013

Hello,

I last used annotations in VB 6 using MS 6.0. I am attempting to use annotation in VS2010 with MS2013. All the examlpes I am seeing create single points. When I previously used annotations I was able to create line segments(i.e. points joined with a line). Can someone point me to a resource for creating annotation lines?

Thanks,

bart

Hi Bart,

Have you seen the help file on defining annotations with custom shapes? This might help you: zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/372636F-01/mstudiowebhelp/html/createcustomannotationshapewinforms/

Daniel,

Thank you for your suggestion. Yes, I had looked at that application note, but it seemed overly complicated for just wanting to place a few line segments on a graph. As a work around I just added another set of axis and another plot and then simply plot (plotyappend in my case) the lines I want.

Thanks again,

Bart
